San Pedro (Trichocereus/Echinopsis pachanoi) is a thin, columnar cactus native to the Andes mountains in South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru) which contains mescaline. Mescaline is nowadays one of the lesser known, but interestingly was the first substance classified as ‘Psychedelic’.
Microdosing San Pedro is relatively uncommon, and little information exists online regarding it, however that simply makes it on the cutting edge of microdosing. From personal experience we quite like Mescaline as a relaxing microdose for a day off, or a rainy day inside, however would instead take a psilocybin or LSD microdose if wanting to exercise, hike, etc. If you are looking for a novel microdosing experience we highly recommend trying cactus.
After consuming you may experience; feelings of peacefulness & relaxation, improved mood, improved visual acuity, boosted creativity, and increased feelings of empathy. For more information on the reported benefits of microdosing, check out our “Microdosing Info” page.
